The Prince William County Department of Parks, Recreation & Tourism maintains PWGFS fields and is in charge of determining whether they are open or closed for play on days when there is inclement weather. The department makes its determinations by 3 p.m. on weekdays and 7 a.m. on weekends, with updates at noon, if needed.

When attempting to locate a field that the league does not have a permit for and times blocked off for use, PWC's Parks, Recreation and Tourism department website hosts a couple useful resources: A park locator and a sortable community-use grid, which lets you know if another organization has a field booked or if it is open.
