These procedures are for any player who wishes to be considered for playing up a division from the one she is currently age eligible.
Spring Procedures:
- The player's parent needs to forward a request to the Player Agent\Registrar. The player must attend Spring Skills Assessment for the division she wants to be considered for. The coaches will evaluate her for their division and will meet immediately after and discuss the players skill set.
- The player will be informed after the assessment of the coaches and division commissioner's decision. If the coaches and the commissioner determine that the player's skill set is not ready for the higher division, she will also need to come to the Spring Skills Assessment for her current division.
- The coaches and division commissioner's assessment of the player will determine which division will be drafted in.
Fall Procedures (NEW FOR 2021):
- The player must be in the play up player pool in the spring season or be on a travel/Alliance team at the higher division, in order to be considered for playing higher than their age division.
- The player's parent will submit a request to her coach and division commissioner for her current age division.
- The player's coach, current division commissioner and next level division commissioner will discuss the request. After the discussion the commissioners will bring the request to the board for discussion.
- The board will vote on the request and the parent of the player will be notified by the Player Agent.
- If the request is approved, the player will be responsible for any difference in registration fees. The player will need to make a payment before the player is assigned to a team using fall draft rules.
